Our team built and successfully ran the highest revenue auction ever, an $82 billion FCC spectrum auction. We are currently looking for software developers with Ember experience to join our team. We value well-structured JavaScript code, so are looking for candidates who have worked with recent versions of Ember, specifically using Native Classes, TypeScript, Octane, and Glimmer.  All of our code is test-driven because our solutions have to be correct. Given the nature of our project deliveries, we are able to stay current with the latest versions of our languages and tools.

You will be collaborating with our Design, Product, and QA teams to develop new software for different auction designs and customers. You may be asked to design a complex workflow or implement a data-rich screen of bidding information.  You may also be asked to interface directly with our customers at their sites to understand their requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of web development experience (HTML/CSS/JS/backend)
• 4+ years of experience using modern JavaScript and TDD
• Recent experience developing Ember applications, including using Native Classes, TypeScript, Octane and Glimmer
• Experience with Ember testing tools such as Mirage and qunit
• Experience with a workflow that includes git and a *nix command line interface
• Solid oral and written communication skills and ability to express complex ideas clearly
• Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, but also collaborate with the development team
• Ability and patience to pay attention to detail
• Can join our daily scrum at 10 am ET
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Has or can obtain a security clearance

**Optional** qualifications related to our toolset

• A degree in computer science or mathematics or economics or related field
• Experience working with a Rails API
• Experience working with Elixir
• Experience with AWS and Docker
• Experience with data modeling
• Experience building complex systems
• Proficiency with a Unix command line interface
